Julianne Salisbury Director, Beyond the Books As Director, Salisbury runs Beyond the Books a brand of Student Horizons, Inc. that focuses on experiential initiatives in higher education. In this role, Salisbury has helped plan and develop the Beyond the Books website which serves as a national clearinghouse to assist college students find experiential learning opportunities that will enhance and define their educational experiences. Most recently, Salisbury has helped create The Guide to Service-Learning Colleges and Universities and its accompanying website. Salisbury grew up in Florida and Utah. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Studies. At USU, Salisbury took advantage of study abroad programs to the Netherlands, Canada, and Costa Rica. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration.
